Princess Margarete Karola of Saxony

Princess Margarete Karola Wilhelmine Viktoria Adelheid Albertine Petrusa Bertram Paula of Saxony, Duchess of Saxony (Full German name: Prinzessin Margarete Karola Wilhelmine Viktoria Adelheid Albertine Petrusa Bertram Paula von Sachsen, Herzogin zu Sachsen^[1][2]) (24 January 1900, Dresden, Saxony^[1][2] – 16 October 1962, Freiburg im Breisgau, Baden-Württemberg, Germany^[1][2]) was the fifth child and second-eldest daughter of Frederick Augustus III of Saxony and his wife Archduchess Luise of Austria, Princess of Tuscany and a younger sister of Georg, Crown Prince of Saxony and Friedrich Christian, Margrave of Meissen.^[1][2] Margarete Karola was the Princess consort of Hohenzollern 22 October 1927 – 16 October 1962.

Marriage and issue

Margarete Karola married Frederick Victor, Hereditary Prince of Hohenzollern (later Frederick, Prince of Hohenzollern), son of William, Prince of Hohenzollern and his wife Princess Maria Teresa of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, on 2 June 1920 at Schloss Sibyllenort in Sibyllenort, Silesia, Germany.^[1][2] Margarete Karola and Frederick had seven children:^[1][2]
